Unlike conventional plans where the on-going restriction of calorie intake from cutting carbs or fats can lead to the plateau effect with your metabolism and weight loss slowing down to compensate, the alternation of high and low calorie days tricks your body into becoming an effective, continuous fat burning machine.

“Fasting” to a rate of 500 calories on two of the days, re-educates your body to being satisfied with less, meaning on your non-fasting days you find that you may not feel you need to eat as much as you would have done otherwise.

Apart from the convenience (you don’t need to plan out how to make 500 calories stretch throughout the day) our carefully designed, highest quality juice blends give you all the nutrients you need in simple grab-and-go format - leaving you the head-space to get on with your life.

Juice days give your digestive system a well deserved break allowing your system to rest and reset. Your stomach shrinks to expect less volume, while still getting the highly concentrated, easily absorbed nutritional boost of pounds and pounds weight of plant based goodness.

Here’s the magic - NO FOOD IS OFF LIMITS! Now, we’re not saying go crazy 5 days a week - but as long as you stick to your maintenance level there is no need to deny yourself any food group or something that really takes your fancy.

Your maintenance level is the number of calories it takes to maintain your weight, neither gaining or losing. This generally stands at around 2,000 calories per day for women and 2,500 for men although this can vary slightly from person to person depending upon age, current weight and activity level.

A 5:2 programme is what it says, but there is absolutely no reason why you couldn’t step up to 4:3 to boost your weight loss if you’d like to, as many people do. However, remember that to enjoy the weight loss boost of intermittent fasting, it is important to alternate between fasting and non fasting days to maintain that metabolic confusion. 2 juice days or 3 - only you can decide what you can genuinely commit to - to realise your goals.

Absolutely - there’s a handy booklet and personal tracker in each box to help guide you to success, but that’s not all! You’ll have heaps of on-line resources at your fingertips - fabulous pick-n-mix breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack recipes all calorie counted for when you need inspiration; exercise videos to help you tone up as you trim down; email support from your Personal Programme Co-ordinator; the support and camaraderie of the Nutriseed Facebook Group.

Although Nutriseed Cold Pressed Juices may be freely enjoyed as part of a healthy balanced diet, juice cleanses should not be undertaken when pregnant, where your immune system is compromised or you have an eating disorder.

The cold-pressed juices are flash-frozen immediately after pressing and will reach you perfectly chilled or partially frozen after transit. On arrival you should simply pop them straight back into your freezer for up to three months without compromising flavour, texture or nutritional integrity. Transfer one day’s supply (5 juices) to your fridge 24 hours ahead of your Fasting day to thaw before consumption. Please drink within 5 days once defrosted in your fridge.
